Connecting Ticket

The U-Abo Subscription is recognised in RVL Zones 1, 2 and 3. Anyone wishing to travel in the German RVL area will need to buy a separate RVL ticket, available from bus drivers or ticket machines situated along the journey routes.

GA Travelcard holders need to buy a connecting ticket at the national border, as the GA Travelcard is not accepted as a ticket in the RVL Zones.

There are no reductions on connecting tickets (adults with Half Fare Travelcard (Halbtax) and GA Travelcards holders must pay the full adult fare).

Connecting tickets can be purchased at ticket machines in zone 10 or by using the app «Tickets». Return journeys require a local RVL ticket, which must be purchased for travel up to the national border.
